Warranty Terms – Reconditioned Units
12-months unlimited mileage warranty on every exchange unit
If within the warranty period the Customer gives notice to the Company that a fault has arisen from defective material or workmanship, such defects will be made good on return of the unit to our premises, provided the unit has been properly maintained and operated under normal conditions.
We do not authorise any persons to inspect/dismantle a failed unit or assume for us any liability in connection with the product.
This warranty does NOT cover costs of removal/fitting, vehicle recovery, loss of earnings or any consequential costs/damage.
Gearmaster Transmissions has an excellent reputation in the industry and we know that our warranty terms are class leading
Important Warnings:
Gearboxes: No oil will be put in your Reconditioned or Repaired unit so you’re Oil Filler / Level Plug will be left loose Check Carefully. A faulty clutch or damaged flywheel will premature wear and invalidate your warranty. Synthetic oil, if recommended by the original manufacturers must be used, failure to comply may invalidate your warranty please Check the vehicles service manual. A fault on your Propshaft will cause damage to your gearbox, please check the shaft thoroughly as damage to the gearbox caused by a faulty propshaft will not be covered under our warranty. PTO must be cleansed prior to fitting (if applicable) linkage and linkage ball joints are suitable for re-use.
Differentials: No oil will be put in your Reconditioned or Repaired unit so your Oil Filler / Level Plug Loose. Axle should be cleansed prior to refitting of Differential, Failure to comply will invalidate your warranty. Original manufacturers oil grade must be used failure to comply may invalidate your warranty, Check the vehicle service manual. A fault on your prop shaft and / or half shaft will cause damage to this differentials, please check the shaft thoroughly as damage to the differential caused by faulty prop shaft and / or half shaft will not be covered under warranty.
